Hi,
My first installation of Beta 2 was unsuccessful and left some folders (Windows, Users and Program Files) on a partition I tried to install to. Unfortunately, I didn't use the "roll back" option as I planned to install again anyway, only to another partition.
Now I cannot get rid of these folders - I tried everything I could to take their ownership etc. but still am not able to delete, runnig Vista or XP (on yet another partition).
There must be a simple and clearly defined way to do it. Can anyone help?

Hello,
Following these steps should work if you are running windows XP Professional. If you are running Home, you will need to re-start your computer in safe mode and log in as the built-in administrator.
- right-click on the folder - click Properties - Click the Security tab - Click Advanced - Click Owner - Where it says Change Owner To, select Administrators - Put a check mark next to Replace owner on subcontainers and objects - Click OK - Click Add - Type: Everyone - Press enter - Click the check box under ALLOW for Full Control - Click OK
You should now be able to delete the folder. :)

Thanks a lot, I'll try it out. Does it mean that those folders are really undeleteable under Vista?
